Community and learning partnership are the amalgamation of two national agenda’s to meet the needs of children and families within a defined locality.  Staffordshire are pioneers in the amalgamation of the agenda’s and provide a model identified as best practice nationally.  The partnerships are clustered around a high school and include the primary and infant schools, health, fire, police and wider partnership with third sector organisations for example Home-Start.  They provide a local strategy to meet the needs of the community and funding for initiatives to move from plan to action.
